Just Something Interesting

Hello everyone!

Well, today I am just going to share a piece of my day that made me quite excited. For the past two days I have been attending a Leadership seminar at my college as I have assumed an officer position in the Engineering Leadership Council. That being said, along with all of the rigamarole that I have been subjected to, today we talked about something that was quite intriguing. One of the speakers strongly suggested the school's Model UN Program. Basically 14 students get picked to take a class once a week where they, as a group, become a nation of the world. After you learn in depth about your country, you are sent to NYC on an all expense paid trip to the United Nations Building. When you arrive, you act as a delegate for your country among 4,000 other students from across the country in a mock UN convention. While I am no fan of the UN in general, this sounds super cool. Hope I have what it takes to make the cut. Salut.
